How to enable root in mac os x

Hi guys , i was off for a while ,but now i am back and will try post periodically in the blog.
This post is about how to enable root user account in mac os x so that you will be able to get the full access to all the system contents.Enabling root has its own merits and demerits.By default the password of the root is not provides to the users.

For enabling root First open up terminal from the spotlight, type terminal and open it

Now comes the most important part. After opening the terminal type "dsenableroot" without quotes. After that the unix will ask you to  verify your password and let you change the root password ,you have to re enter the root password.
Note:-unix will not display any character that you will type into the terminal.

To login into the root account you have to choose the other option at the login screen and type username which is root and the password will be the one you have set using "dsenableroot".

To disable root account what you have to do is open a new terminal window or new tab and then type in "dsenableroot -d" without quotes.Again the unix system will ask you to enter the password of the admin account from which you have logged in.

Note:-this is a complicated process so be careful while typing the commands and the passwor. For better understanding you can watch the video below. This will work on os x marvericks and onwards (tested) and i am not sure for the older versions.

Thank you and if you have any queries you can comment below .
