How to download logic additional content manually with any download manager iGetter

Logic x is a powerhouse for producers.It is the mother of all DAWs when it comes to quality and quantity with  a fair price of  Rs.13406($200).After you have purchased logic from the app store it lets you download around 35 GB of high quality samples and presets.But i don't know why the downloads don't happen properly either it drastically slows down or prompts failed and stops in between.

I searched a lot about it on the internet and got nothing which could help me.So i came up with a way to download it with any download manager (in this case it is iGetter).

First things first open up textedit and paste "http://audiocontentdownload.apple.com/lp10_ms3_content_2016/" and save it.Make sure you save it as plain text(.txt) not rich text (.rtf).If 2016 contents are not supported then you can change it to 2015 if not then 2014 and so on .

Now you have to locate the plist file of the logic pro x version you are using.Go to applications shift+cmd+a from the finder.The open the logic pro x.app and locate to resources and scroll down a little.Now in the resources there will be a plist file.Open the .plist file with textedit as shown in the gifs below.

You can easily spot the plist file in my case it is logicpro1021.plist as my version is 10.2.1 it may be different in your case.For example if your version is 10.1.1 the the plist file will be logicpro1011.plist.

Search for <key>Name</key>.Under it you will find the Name of the category of packages like corecontent,alchemy etc etc 

To install the packages under that category copy every thing under <array> till </array>.For in my case i wanted to download the Alchemy dance packages.

Now paste it in the text file that you saved in the beginning 

Open find and replace by pressing option+cmd+f cut the  http://audiocontentdownload.apple.com/lp10_ms3_content_2016/ that you have pasted earlier and replace it with <string>

and .pkg with </string>

Save it . 
Now open iGetter and o to file>Import URLs list locate the text file where you have saved all the links.

Click ok and the download will start and the package files will be saved in the downloads folder by default.

Just open the package file and it will do the job of installing for you.
